Line up and pay your tolls
One of three things will soon happen with the blockade and tolls situation in the Strait of Hormuz and the Red Sea:
Paul Singer will use the Argentinian naval vessel he once seized to set up his own blockade somewhere in the Strait of Hormuz to start collecting tolls;
Some crypto bro will drop a new coin that is somehow tied to the amount of tolls collected;
Donald Trump & Sons will offer free passage, or even an escort from a US Navy ship, for every shipper who buys and holds enough USD1 stablecoins.
I’m hoping for #1 myself, but would put #3 at higher odds. This is supposed to be satire, but on a long enough timeline…
